ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor tenants/concessionaires business performance to drive/achieve sales and royalty.
  • Act as a focal point/main liaison in relation to Ancillary related matters between Tenants & other Commercial Units as well as other Divisions
  • Informative & resourceful in terms of providing valuable data to the Tenants
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Preparation of Need Statement and General Requirements for new business facilities and services for M&E.
  • Provide information for Project in Technical and Kick‐Off Meetings with tenants
  • Reports status (Occupancy & Revenue) to Manager on monthly basis
  • Preparing status reports and other periodic and ad‐hoc communications to team members and stakeholders across the project
  • Provide recommendations for commercial development for all airports
  • Liaise with ID Consultants, Architects and M&E Consultants for approval on Architectural drawings, M&E drawings, C&S drawings, and concept design (CAPEX/ACM Projects)
  • Maintain effective working relationship with business partners, airport personnel, aviation representatives, governmental agencies and community partners
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenancy agreements, revenue reports, and operational activities.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in back-of-house operations.


Key Challenges

  • Represent and advocate for the client’s interests within the commercial team, ensuring that their needs and priorities are addressed effectively.
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the tenant and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper tenant expectations.
  • Set clear and realistic expectations for the tenant regarding deliverables, performance, and service levels. Regularly update tenants on progress and any changes that might affect their interests.
  • Navigate and ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations relevant to business services.


Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative business strategies that align with long-term organizational goals
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a business development team, with a focus on driving performance and achieving set targets, possess strong business acumen, strategic and creative thinking, time management and planning skills
  • Able to work under pressure and independently and strong desire for success including responsibility and ownership.


Education

 

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline preferably with specialization in Business Administration / Sales & Marketing / Retail Management / Commercial Management / Leasing Management                
  • Master In Business Administration (MBA) would be an added advantage
